Indie-rock band Portugal. The Man will embark on their North American Denali Tour this fall. The 20-show run kicks off in Portland, Oregon on Nov. 6, followed by stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York and more.
“The tour is called Denali. It’s the name of a mountain, twenty-thousand feet high, 6 million years old,” the band wrote in the Instagram announcement. “Some things are bigger than the present, steadier than feelings: certain, defiant, unmovable, clear. Maybe—maybe— music is one of them too.”
The band surprised fans earlier this month with the release of their new EP, uLu Selects Vol #2, and have teased an upcoming full-length record.
Presale will start on Tuesday, June 26 at 10 a.m. local time and fans can use the code KNIK for access. General tickets go on sale Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. local time.
