Poppy announces seventh studio album, ‘Empty Hands’ out January 23, 2026

Date:

Genre-defying and Grammy-nominated artist Poppy is releasing her seventh studio album Empty Hands early next year. Releasing on the 23rd of January, 2026, the studio album is set to include elements of industrial, pop and the early electronic roots of Poppy’s style.

In conjunction with the announcement, Poppy has dropped the single and music video for “Bruised Sky,” produced by Jordan Fish. A powerful, heavy track, “Bruised Sky” is both melodic and fierce, and will serve to get fans even more excited for what’s to come.

While the track list for the album has not been confirmed yet, it is also expected to include the recent single “Unravel.” The song’s blend of metal and pop blend gives some insight into the sonic tone of the upcoming album.

Poppy has already announced a world tour in time with the new album with shows in Australia, the UK and Europe starting in January of next year. Tickets can be found here.

Empty Hands by Poppy is out January 23rd via Sumerian Records.
