Polyglam release debut EP ‘Spectrum’

Date:

A serendipitous meeting, a few weeks of house-sitting for a music producer, and a mutual discovery is all it took for Allie Stamler (vocals and strings), Rachel White (guitar and keys), and John Sinclair (drums, backing vocals, keys) to start Polyglam. Now, after just two short years and seven single releases, the band is putting out Spectrum, their first full-length EP, on June 30.

The album is inspired by the nuances of life’s spectrums — personally, creatively, and in terms of sexuality — and explores finding refuge in the “in-between.” Filled with ethereal vocals, dreamy keys and drums that don’t march but rather walk alongside you throughout the album, Spectrum is a wonderland put to music with a sublime edge and a healthy dose of questioning added to it.
