Earlier this month, Oasis released the details of deluxe formats of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? in honor of the album’s 30th anniversary, set to be released on October 3rd, 2025.
Coming in three different formats — 2CD, 3LP, and digitally — the rerelease will feature new, unplugged versions of “Cast No Shadow,” “Morning Glory,” “Wonderwall,” “Acquiesce,” and “Champagne Supernova” with the songs being produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho who also did the original master recordings. What’s more, if October 3rd is just too long for you to wait, “Acquiesce” in all its renewed glory is available to stream and watch today.

Not only will fans receive new mixes of their favorite songs, but the 30th anniversary deluxe edition is set to include new artwork shot by the original sleeve designer Brian Cannon, as well as new sleeve notes. Exclusive colored vinyl formats will also be available, including an Amazon exclusive “Wonderwall”-inspired sepia marble 3LP and an official store exclusive “Acquiesce”-inspired neon orange 3LP. Additionally, all formats will include the 2014 remastered version of the album alongside the new bonus version.
(What’s The Story) Morning Glory? stands out as one of the most era-defining rock albums. Released on Creation Records, it propelled Oasis into worldwide success and won the 1996 BRIT Award for Best British Album. Today, the album is just as revered, if not more so, and has sold over 22 million copies globally. It was also named the UK’s third biggest selling studio album of all time, and was announced as the Official Most Streamed Album of the 90s last National Album Day.
