Stockholm-based singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Amanda Kongshaug, formally known as ALBA, has just released a dreamy pop record titled “Four Walls,” the first track off of her upcoming debut album titled Chasing the Sun. The album is set to be released in the spring of 2026.
As a singer and songwriter, ALBA has worked with a number of artists across multiple different genres. She’s worked with people like Icona pop, Benjamin Ingrosso, Omar Rudberg, Zara Larsson, Armin Van Buuren, and Afrojack, to name a few.
“Four Walls” was created during a confusing time in the artist’s life, during which the world outside seemed to be a dangerous place compared to the safety within her own home. It’s a song where the world outside seems scary and everything has kind of lost its colors. In a press release, ALBA states:
“‘Four Walls’ is an emotional song about struggling to find strength and purpose to step out of the comfort of one’s own four walls. It’s as much the internal walls and letting the guard down as the actual walls of my home that have slowly turned into a hideout where I don’t have to face the world and the rain on the outside.”
