Since 2015, Parisian electronic duo Oden & Fatzo has captured the attention of audiences around the world. Their music blends house, disco, and funk in a way that is totally irresistible, which is why Oden & Fatzo have amassed over 100M streams across platforms and have over 3M monthly listeners. Both underground and mainstream markets have taken note of the duo as well, supporting their endeavors through radio, streaming, club appearances, tours, and festival performances. In February of this year, Oden & Fatzo even played a sold out headline show at OUTERNET in central London.
Of course, collaboration is key when it comes to establishing yourself in the industry. The duo has built quite a résumé in terms of musical collabs, working with vocalists, producers, and DJs such as Camden Cox, Poppy Baskcomb, Romeo Louisa, and Queen Rose. Their latest collab is with LA rapper and songwriter Barney Bones, who is also no stranger to collaborations. Over the years, Barney Bones has worked with dance music hitmakers like Channel Tres, DRAMA, and KAYTRANADA.
With “My Temptations,” Oden & Fatzo and Barney Bones set the bar high. The track is guaranteed to be a summer smash, even though we are a few months out from the sizzling season. Still, it combines funky basslines, lush synth, and fresh house beats that will charm listeners and get them out on the dance floor. Oden & Fatzo’s glossy production is then tied together with Barney Bones’s modern vocals as he sings, “My temptations / They won’t wait, no, no / ‘Cause the party isn’t over till we’re done.” You can check it out below.
“My Temptations” is the latest from Oden & Fatzo’s upcoming debut album, which will be released through Defected Records. The duo’s relationship with Defected goes back to last year, and it’s only getting stronger. The London label has tapped Oden & Fatzo to perform at Ibiza this year, along with flagship festivals in Croatia and Malta.
