Dillon Francis and Daya team up for new single “What It Feels Like”

Date:

Multi-talented producer, songwriter, and DJ Dillon Francis has just released his new project with Grammy-winning pop artist Daya via Monstercat and broke Records, “What It Feels Like.”

“What It Feels Like” is a danceable electronic track that is sure to get listeners out of their seats and onto the dance floor. The collab is infectious with energy and that is demonstrated by the excitement and confidence from both artists.

Daya shares her feelings about the collaboration, stating:

“I’m so excited for ‘What it Feels Like’ to be out, I’ve admired Dillon’s artistry for a while, and getting to work together on this track has been a dream. I can’t wait for people to finally hear it and hopefully feel what we felt making it.”

The new song was teased earlier this month, with Dillon sharing a snippet of Daya’s vocals on Instagram, leading fans to highly anticipate the drop. When discussing the new track  and why people should give it a listen, Dillon shared:

“It’s strange that I’m expected to summarize a song in a quote so you’ll listen to it, when listening to it would solve that problem, The song is ‘What It Feels Like’ with Daya. You can stop reading now.”

“What It Feels Like” marks the first partnership between the indie label innovators Monstercat and broke Records and kicks off a very busy year for Dillon, as he will be embarking on his co-headlining tour, Dillstradamus, with trap pioneer Flosstradamus this April. Tickets can be found here.
