Singer-songwriter and TikTok star Nessa Barrett has announced her forthcoming album Aftercare will come out later this year. Barrett also announced that the lead single, “Passenger Princess,” will arrive on Friday, July 26.

It comes on the heels of her latest single “girl in new york,” which she released in December, as well as her single “club heaven.” There was speculation that the album would be named Church Club for the Lonely.
In the song “Passenger Princess,” Barrett expresses her unwavering support and loyalty to her partner. She conveys her willingness to go anywhere for love, finding comfort and trust in the relationship. She wants to be a passenger princess, ready to follow her partner wherever life takes them.
Barrett previously released her debut album young forever in October 2022 via Warner Records. The debut peaked at No. 80 on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart.
