Dallas native M’Lynn has used music to share her story with the world her whole life. Through her songs, listeners are given a glimpse into M’Lynn’s journey from when she was 12 to where she is now. Her latest song “Still Got It” explores the future of a romantic relationship.
“Still Got It” asks if a separation was really worth it. Through steady percussion and rich vocals, M’Lynn asks her partner if there is a chance of getting back together. Lyrics such as “Do we still got it / Still got it / I’m still craving all your love and all your nonsense” show M’Lynn’s feelings toward her ex-partner, but she is unsure where they currently stand.
