mgk’s 27 Club Coffee goes green with new, plastic-free coffee pods

Date:

27 Club Coffee, founded by mgk, has unveiled their latest product: no plastic k-cup coffee pods.

Opened in 2020, 27 Club Coffee is both a coffee lounge and a kitchen based in Cleveland, Ohio. Last week, the brand revealed the pods across their social media accounts. They stated that “most people don’t realize how much plastic is in their daily cup with traditional pods and how much of that ends up in your body,” and that it is now time to make a change.

The pods are completely plastic-free, making them environmentally friendly and all green. They are entirely compostable, consist of 40% more coffee, are all natural, and have the same quality as a pour-over. They are launching with their two most popular roasts, Diablo and Blonde Don.

The cups are available for pre-order now at 27clubcoffee.com. They are expected to ship beginning on Nov. 19, making for a cool stocking stuffer this holiday season.
