Maudlin Strangers bring the bass in new single “Don’t Worry, I’m Fine”

Date:

Maudlin Strangers Don't Worry I'm Fine

Maudlin Strangers began in 2010 as an indie-rock band formed by Jake Hays. Their debut EP, Overdose, came to life in 2015, and they began touring with artists such as Bad Suns and LANY. After putting out another single and EP in 2017, the group took a break. In 2023, they came back with new faces in the band, with Alexander Morgan on keys & guitar, and Drew Bruchs on bass, and their original drummer Richie Gonzalez.

After a 7-year hiatus, Maudlin Strangers have returned, starting in October with their single “I’m Not In The Right Mind.” This January, they’ve given us “Don’t Worry, I’m Fine“- an electric new track full of fuzzy bass and reverbed vocals. It’s clear that their return has begun with new music that packs a punch. “Don’t Worry, I’m Fine” is the anthem for overcoming defeat, which is the perfect introduction to the band’s new era. The indie rock/synth pop fusion is similar to artists such as Artic Monkeys & Cage the Elephant. It’s a song that you can rock out to alone, or in a crowded room- whatever suits your fancy.
