Maren Morris is taking fans behind the music in a new, intimate way. Amazon Music just dropped the latest episode of its Songline series, and this time it’s all about the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter. The special features reimagined, stripped-down versions of eight of her tracks including favorites like “My Church,” “The Middle,” “lemonade,” and more.
The Songline series is all about spotlighting the craft of songwriting. It pairs raw, live performances with in-depth interviews, letting artists dig into their creative process, personal stories, and the meaning behind their music. For Maren, that meant reworking some of her biggest songs and exploring different moods and vocals.
“Reimagining my songs in this way really let me play into different vocals and moods for each one,” she shared. “Amazon Music has always been such a wonderful creative partner and I’m so happy they gave me the creative space to rework some of my favorite songs of my career.”
