Madison Cunningham has announced that her third studio album Ace will be released on Oct. 10 via Verve Forecast, with a live performance of the lead single, “My Full Name,” out now. The Los Angeles singer-songwriter teamed up with producer Robbie Lackritz, notable for his work with artists like Feist and Rilo Kiley, to create the follow up to her GRAMMY-Award winning album Revealer

Across 14 tracks, Cunningham explores her intimate experiences with love, betrayal and heartbreak. She wanted to take risks with the record, allowing her emotions to take the wheel during the songwriting process.

Robin Pecknold, vocalist and guitarist of the indie folk group Fleet Foxes, is featured on the track “Wake.” “We did maybe ten takes where she played and sang perfectly every time and I struggled to keep up,” Pecknold said of their collaboration. “She’s a force and an inspiration.”

Cunningham has undoubtedly been on an upward spiral since her GRAMMY win for Best Folk Album in 2022, recently wrapping up the Railroad Revival Tour with Mumford & Sons. She was hailed as one of the “most talented creative forces of our generation,” by Hozier, and has worked with indie powerhouses like Lucy Dacus and Remi Wolf.
