Mac Saturn blend classic and modern sounds on debut EP, ‘Until The Money Runs Out’

Date:

Grab your Chelsea boots and denim vest; we’re listening to Mac Saturn‘s EP, Until The Money Runs Out! Mac Saturn have released their debut EP, which flawlessly blends classic and modern sounds with a ’60s/’70s flair. The quintet, hailing from Detroit, Michigan, is fronted by Carson Macc, who has been performing with guitarist Nick Barone since they were teenagers. Until The Money Runs Out is an impressive debut, and it’s obvious that Mac Saturn have put in the work.

The band released their debut single, “Diamonds,” in February 2022, and their 2nd single, “Mr. Cadillac,” in March. Since then, “Mr. Cadillac,” an instant hit, has received more than 1.6 million streams on Spotify alone. Simply put, this song is cool. Macc’s vocals are paired with a groovy instrumental that will keep you coming back for more.

Throughout Until The Money Runs Out, Mac Saturn capture the energy of a live performance with the refinement of a record. The spirited “Ain’t Like You” is a song with lyrics that you practically have to shout, and closing track “Persian Rugs” features a killer guitar solo that will leave you speechless. The EP is high-energy from start to finish, and it will be interesting to see how Mac Saturn approach their debut album. Until then, catch them on the California Dreamin’ 2022 Tour with Dirty Honey and Dorothy, and the Until The Money Runs Out Tour.
