Date:

Based in the United Kingdom, Lusaint is no stranger to success. She first gained popularity in 2019 when her cover of “More Than Friends” was featured on the television series Love Island, and has since gained over 20 million global streams of her songs. Her new song  “Lie To Yourself” focuses on breaking cycles. It’s also the lead single to her new EP, The Apothecary (Pt. 1), released the same day.

“Lie To Yourself” is about moving on from painful experiences. Through strong vocals and deep bass, Lusaint details the end of a toxic relationship. Her lyrics describe the deception and lies this partner created and how they caused irreparable damage to their connection. Sharing more about the single, she says, “It’s about loving the person who hurt you — and finally seeing them clearly, though you still can’t let go.”
