Lola Young announces new album ‘I’m Only Fucking Myself’

Date:

South London singer-songwriter and global sensation Lola Young announced that her new album I’m Only Fucking Myself will be released on September 19th via Island Records.

The album will feature the previously released groovy “One Thing,” with the full tracklist yet to be unveiled. In a post shared on Instagram, Young describes what this upcoming record means to her with a caption that reads, “My ode to self-sabotage, my chance to claw myself back from the edge of defeat.”

I’m Only Fucking Myself serves as the follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2024 release This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway, which reached #1 across multiple Billboard charts including the Pop Airplay, Hot Adult Contemporary and Alternative Rock charts. Pre-order/pre-save for I’m Only Fucking Myself can be found here.

Young has had an immensely successful and busy 2025 since “Messy” became a viral hit across the globe last year. Following a major festival run this summer with appearances at Glastonbury, Roskilde, All Things Go, and Lollapalooza Paris, Young will be embarking on a headline North American tour this fall in November and December. The massive tour will stop in some major cities across the continent, including New York City, Toronto, and Chicago, before wrapping up in Los Angeles on December 7th.
