Lee Cole shares uplifting new single “Palace of Dreams”

Date:

South African singer-songwriter Lee Cole has released a new single titled “Palace of Dreams,” the follow-up to “Mine.” The new track is an upbeat pop record that will lift your spirits with its catchy chorus and dreamy instrumentation.

Lyrically, Cole embraces the moment of uncertainty that he finds himself in, regardless of the opinions of people around him. In the pre-chorus, he sings, “Here they go / They keep saying I’m a ghost / I can’t run in this palace of dreams / If it’s true, guess I’ll stay / Just a little bit longer / Strange but I don’t want to escape.”

About the message behind the song, Cole says:

“It’s about not doing what everyone else expects. When I say ‘don’t go, everybody’s waiting’, it warns against stepping into a space where people try to direct your choices.”
