Jutes makes television debut with “It Takes Two” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Date:

Last night (December 9), rising rock artist Jutes made a headline-making debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, stepping onto late-night television for the first time.

Jutes delivered a live performance of “It Takes Two,” a track off his newly released album Dilworth. The performance gave a clear, confident entrance into mainstream visibility for viewers unfamiliar with the rising act.

The song, touches on themes of heartbreak, desperation, and toxic love. In a recent interview, Jutes explained that the track reflects a darker, more impulsive version of himself from the past: “a little bit toxic… desperately in love and not super in tune with my emotions.”

Just a week earlier, on December 3, Jutes wrapped up the final show of his North American run of the Sleepyhead Tour, playing at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre, coinciding with the release of Dilworth.

With the North American leg of Sleepyhead Tour now concluded, Jutes is already turning his sights overseas. He’s slated to headline the Far From Dilworth Tour in Europe with confirmed dates in the UK, Germany, Austria, and beyond, beginning in May 2026.

The timing of his television performance feels almost cinematic: finishing a tour, dropping an album, and stepping onto national television just days later.
