Following the release of her last EP, Supernova, June has shared her newest single, “Reckless.”
The song follows June’s classic dance-pop sound and introspective storytelling, showing that love is thrilling, dangerous, and impossible to control completely. June captures the internal conflict of wanting closeness while still being scared of vulnerability. Lines like “Is it so wrong to want somebody real?” and “I might be reaching, this love got me tweaking” show the artist scared and worried, but still willing to take the risk.
With “Reckless,” June continues to show her great songwriting ability. The track fits beautifully into her growing catalogue. It’s the kind of dance-pop track you can move to, and it has an emotional intensity you can connect with.
