Joe Jonas celebrated the upcoming release of his solo project, Music For People Who Believe In Love, at Los Angeles’ historic venue, The Mint. GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter, actor and producer gave fans a sneak peak into the forthcoming album, performing select tracks including singles “Work It Out” and “Heart By Heart.” The crowd was buzzing as Jonas brought out a group of his close friends and collaborators, including Aly & AJ, Franklin Jonas, Sierra Ferrell, Justin Tranter, Josette Maskin, and James Alan.
Aly & AJ and Jonas are healing the hearts of everyone’s inner child with a performance of “No One,” a song written by the sisters that was featured in Ice Princess, a movie starring the late actress Michelle Trachtenberg. Jonas was also joined by his brother, Franklin, to perform their collaboration “Velvet Sunshine,” which will be released on Friday when the album comes out. Sierra Ferrell and Jonas performed their rendition of “You’re Still the One” by Shania Twain at the event, which they first performed together earlier this month in Fort Worth, Texas on The Big Ass World Tour. Ferrell will be featured on “Sip Your Wine.”
Along with the intimate show, Jonas has been booked and busy, performing “Heart by Heart” on The Voice finale and announcing album signings in select cities including New York and Miami.
