James Lee and Amber Liu Encourage Fans on New Collab “Alright”

Date:

Rising Korean American star James Lee and K-Pop veteran Amber Liu released their
collaboration “Alright” last week, and we can’t get enough of the chill track.

As “Alright” is a song with lyrics based around reassuring and comforting someone
when they’re going through difficulties, it was released at a perfect time when a lot of
people have turned to music for comfort.

Although James and Amber won’t be able to perform the song live for a while due to
circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, they satisfied their fans’ desire for
visual accompaniment with an atmospheric music video.

The Star Wars-esque MV follows James and Amber walking through desert scenery
and reminding listeners that “You don’t have to worry, it’s gon’ be alright.”
James Lee started his musical career as a member of the band Royal Pirates, before
stepping down from the group in 2017 after an injury rendered him unable to play bass.
He made his return to music as a solo artist in 2018, and has since released a handful
of singles, as well as a 5 song EP, The Light, which reached the top 10 on multiple
international music charts.
