Jack’s Mannequin finds a new home at ONErpm with ‘Everything In Transit: Strings Attached EP’

Date:

Alternative pop rock band Jack’s Mannequin signs to ONErpm just in time for the release of Everything In Transit: Strings Attached EP. The EP release coincides with the 20th anniversary of their debut album and follows a sold-out Red Rocks performance and the first leg of the MFEO 20th Anniversary Tour.

Eric Herman, Senior A&R at ONErpm shares:

“As a decades-long fan myself, it’s a true honor to contribute to the release of this reimagining of an iconic album. Working with Andrew’s [McMahon] fantastic team at C3 and our dynamic, passionate team at ONErpm to delights Jack Mannequins fans around the world and inspire a new generation of fans is an absolute joy.

Jack’s Mannequin is one of the coolest bands in alternative rock and should be included in the same conversation as the biggest names in the genre. Piano-driven melodies and a knack for storytelling is what sets them apart from other bands, but what makes them truly unforgettable is their story. Just as the band was about to release their debut album, Everything In Transit, Andrew McMahon was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Most people would let a diagnosis like that keep them from chasing their dreams, but not McMahon. At 22 years old, McMahon underwent chemotherapy, later receiving a stem cell transplant from his sister. In 2006, McMahon turned his battle into advocacy, launching the Dear Jack Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting young adults diagnosed with cancer. His battle was captured in the 2009 documentary Dear Jack.

Jack’s Mannequin’s unique journey, marked by Andrew McMahon’s battle through cancer, speaks to the power of music. Songs like “Swim” and “The Resolution” are the types of tracks that land and stick. They carry emotional weight, giving fans something to connect to as McMahon reflects on his survival. After years of hiatus, Jack’s Mannequin picks up right where they left off, creating music that resonates just as strongly as ever. The second leg of the MFEO 20th Anniversary Tour will start back up on October 11th in Los Angeles, California.
