Jack Dean showcases his powerful vocals on new single “Still On My Mind”

Date:

Jack Dean—a 23-year-old new artist from the British countryside who went viral with a Benson Boone cover that racked up over 23 million views—makes his voice heard in the striking new single, “Still On My Mind.”

Undeniably, the star of the show is Jack’s powerful, unreal vocals which make the song rich, smooth and a pleasure to listen to. As if his lead vocals weren’t enough, he adds beautiful, delicate background vocal layers that compliment the strength of his voice, creating a multi-dimensional, well-produced track.

In the song, Jack sings about his inability to let go of someone, describing how often he thinks about them and how it consumes him. The chorus, “You’re still on my mind / No I can’t let you go / You’re still on my mind / And you don’t even know / I keep you close / I hope you don’t mind / You’re still on my mind,” is sung with emotion and passion, truthfully capturing the feeling of longing without sugar-coating it. Jack’s ability to pour everything into his music is admirable, making him an artist to watch.
