England’s own infamous heavy metal band Iron Maiden announces their European Run For Your Lives tour starting in the second half of 2026. This tour marks a special occasion as it marks the band’s 50th anniversary: Steve Harris founded the band in late 1975. According to their Instagram post, the band is prioritizing regions and countries across Europe and the UK that they haven’t visited during their 2025 tour, alongside festival appearances. Guest appearances are soon to be announced.
In addition, the band is setting some special rules for this tour, prioritizing full-fan experiences and minimizing phone usage during concerts. In the post, they share:
“…It was great to see fans embrace the request to limit phone use on the recent tour, creating a powerful atmosphere that elevated every show. For 2026, the band asks audiences to continue this approach, ensuring concerts are experienced fully in the moment. In Paris only, general admission tickets (standing) will be entirely phone-free with Yondr’s secure pouch system, guaranteeing the best possible environment for both fans and filming…”
The news comes as what feels like a “farewell tour” before the band takes a well-deserved break from the road in 2027.
VIP Packages will not be available for this tour. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale the week of September 22nd here.
