California pop band ill peach returns with their latest single, “Head Full Of Holes”, an atmospheric dance track all about nostalgic memories. Following up on their previous release, “Blah Blah Blah,” the band slows down and brings forward a full on electronic vibe.

“Head Full Of Holes” is like a fever dream, with a highly distorted sound flowing all throughout the song. Despite this, it has an airy quality to it; the ethereal vocals are packed with emotion, while the melody is bright and slightly chaotic. It takes you back and forth from daydreaming in bed to dancing around the room.

The track beautifully conveys a sense of longing, as it recreates specific moments in time in an almost cinematic way. As it explores our obsession with nostalgia, ill peach describes the feeling as “(…) this urge to have a tight grip on certain memories. Sometimes the beautiful and the painful ones get distorted because we want to remember them a certain way”.

“Head Full Of Holes” is now available on all streaming platforms.
