Heavy metal band Bad Omens has released their latest hard-hitting single “Dying To Love” via Sumerian Records, opening the doors to the band’s next chapter.
Showcasing the stunning vocals of frontman Noah Sebastian, the bold new anthem is both a classic-sounding Bad Omens track, filled with metal, electronic, and rock influences, and a prime example of how the band is progressing their sound.
The new release is accompanied by an eerie music video created by director Nico Poalillo alongside Sebastian, marking the pair’s third collaboration in the new era of Bad Omens.
The video places the focus at the center of a dreary concrete building, depicting an inescapable terror for the main character. The atmosphere feels abandoned yet full of watchful eyes, as the narrator is surrounded by ominous spectators waiting their turn to attack:
“Stepping stones that bloody your feet / Sirens holding flowers of teeth / They call your name from ivory streets / But heaven isn’t quite what it seems / I’ve been dying to love / […] One more second’s enough.”
This is the third surprise single of 2025 from the band, following the release of songs “Specter” in August and “Impose” in September, marking the first songs released since their 2024 compilation album, Concrete Jungle [The OST].
Bad Omens made their musical comeback of 2025 with their surprise single “Specter,” which has climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay/Mediabase Active Rock charts, and No. 15 on Alternative Radio since its debut in August.
The metalcore band gained international recognition from their breakthrough RIAA GOLD-certified third studio album, The Death of Peace of Mind (2022), featuring the hit single “Just Pretend,” which earned Bad Omens their first RIAA-certified single. The track reached No. 1 on the U.S. Alternative Radio charts, and was followed by their standout title track “The Death of Peace of Mind,” which reached the top 10 on the U.S. Rock and Alternative Airplay Billboard Charts.
