Good Sleepy has announced that their sophomore album Constant Humming will be released on February 13, 2026.
Alongside the announcement, the Massachusetts emo band has released the album’s first single, “TRAP.” The track is a raw, heartfelt effort that shows the band fully embracing the vital components of their sound in a refreshing way. Speaking on “TRAP,” lead singer Thomas Sullivan shares,
“It’s been a long time since we released a full-length record. We’ve grown in our sound quite a bit since our last album and feel that this song encapsulates our future direction very well, while also pushing some of the more raw, familiar elements that are present in our previous releases. ’TRAP’ was one of the first songs we wrote for the album in the beginning of 2023. It feels unreal to be finally releasing it. Stoked for it to finally be heard.”
Constant Humming serves as the follow-up to their 2021 debut everysinglelittlebit, which was produced by Hot Mulligan’s Chris Freeman and Crime in Stereo’s Gary Cioni. The self-recorded new album was created over the span of the last four years with co-producer Charlie Burket in the secluded mountains of Central Massachusetts. With themes of nostalgia, emotional backlog and the confusion surrounding adulthood, Good Sleepy is gearing up to release their most honest and cohesive body of work to date.
The band is set to join Harrison Gordon for a show outside of Boston, MA on November 30th at the Crystal Ballroom. Tickets and information for this show can be found here.
