Girl Wilde and Lostboycrow Try to Make Amends On New Song “2006”

Date:

With her unique voice and energetic sound, Girl Wilde is making waves in pop culture. From songs about breakups to hanging out with friends, Girl Wilde has what you need to get excited for the next big thing. On her latest single, “2006”, Girl Wilde teamed up with Lostboycrow to create a raw ballad about uncertainty in a relationship.

“2006” is about not knowing what your partner is truly thinking. Through strong harmonies and emotional lyrics, Girl Wilde and Lostboycrow wrestle with falling in and out of love. Lyrics such as, “Changed like the leaves / And things got uneasy / I guess it’s easy to fall” show the push and pull of the relationship, creating a hazy situation where they don’t know where the other stands.

Sharing more about “2006”, Girl Wilde comments:

“2006 was inspired by my most confusing situationship. I was searching for answers as to why I was ghosted by someone who would most likely never give me an explanation. 2006 is what happens in my imagination. A projection of sorts. A romanticization, most likely.”
