Singer-songwriter George Redwood has released “First Call,” the lead single from his upcoming project, THE TRUTH OF IT ALL (Part Two).
The track is an emotional expression of Redwood’s desire to be someone’s final call at night and the first thought in the morning. “I wrote ‘First Call’ about that visceral need to be someone’s safe place—whether they’re high on life, spiraling, or simply heading home after a night out,” Redwood said. “It’s obsessive, it’s hopeful, and it absolutely had to feel huge.”
The song blends raw, heartfelt lyrics with euphoric synths and a driving beat. With its pop-forward production and emotional intensity, “First Call” has already captivated festival audiences across the U.K.
Redwood, who began writing music at 13, is known for fusing vulnerable lyricism with catchy melodies. He has performed at several major U.K. festivals and amassed more than 6 million streams on Spotify in the past year. He also appeared on BBC’s primetime show All Together Now, further solidifying his status as a rising artist.
Redwood sees each track as a new chapter in his musical journey, one shaped by loyal fans and growing interest. THE TRUTH OF IT ALL (Part Two), is slated for release soon, with more singles to follow.
