Gavin DeGraw to release ‘Chariot 20’ in September, a reimagined version of his debut album

Date:

Gavin DeGraw has announced his upcoming album, Chariot 20 — a brand-new-reinvisioned version of his debut album, will be released on Sept. 27. The album reunites DeGraw with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb and includes two previously unreleased tracks from the original Chariot sessions: “Get Lost” and “Love Is Stronger (Alright).”

In a press release statement, DeGraw discussed the album:

“This song was one of the main reasons why I chose to re-imagine the record,” shared DeGraw. “I believe that this song is a great reminder how important love continues to be.”

DeGraw originally released his debut album on July 22, 2003 through J Records. The album, which featured the double-Platinum, Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit “I Don’t Wanna Be” from the 2000s television series One Tree Hill on the WB, was successful and was later certified Platinum in the U.S. Chariot’s album opener “Follow Through” earned Gold certification while the Platinum-selling title track reached Top 30 territory on the Hot 100.
