Pop artist Emma Teufel is back with another single titled “Nice Guy.”
The track touches on the relatable instance when you meet a self-professing “nice guy,” usually someone who wears the mask of kindness in order to gain from a relationship without genuine care for their partner.
Emma Teufel puts the meaning of the song in her own words, explaining:
“Everyone has (unfortunately) run into a ‘nice guy’ in their life. The guy who so desperately believes he is good and kind, when in reality, he uses others as a pawn to lift him up in what he sees as a game. A guy that would take a bullet for himself, and no one else. The guy who uses chivalry as his secret weapon. And once you’ve encountered one ‘nice guy,’ you can spot them from a mile away- which is where we should keep them… FAR AWAY!!!
“Nice Guy” is a true contemporary pop song that will definitely be sung at the top of the lungs of those who have experienced this dynamic in dating. The instrumental is fun and danceable and pairs very well with Emma’s strong vocals.
