Pop artist Dylan Dunlap creates music for storytellers. He’s an LA-based multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer. This jack of all trades launched his own record label (East Magnolia Records) in 2023 after independently releasing his first 3 EPs. He’s received recognition on a number of Spotify editorials, as well as praise from Travis Mills at Apple Music. Dylan’s music isn’t just made for a casual listen; it’s introspective and cinematic.
Dylan’s latest single, “Tell Me” is a modern love story. It follows the story of how Dunlap dropped everything he knew to follow someone he fell in love with to New York. It’s dreamy, hopeful, and a story that could easily turn into a motion picture. The instrumentation is upbeat and combines classical elements with modern production. The whole track is lifted over a beautiful piano melody, reminiscent to modern pop by artists like Ben Rector and Stephen Day. “Tell Me” is a song to lift your spirits, and it’s a song to send to someone you’d pack up and move to the city for.
