Via an Instagram post, the artist shares that “Another Realm” is a serene, cinematic alt-pop experience crafted from the emotional surrender and deep spiritual metaphor inspired by the ocean’s mystique and dangerous aura. The track explores transformation through love, loss and rebirth, as the ocean tides smooth the edges of the most rugged of rocks.
Produced by Grammy-nominated Dante Lattanzi, the song’s release is in collaboration with global marine conservation group Sea Shepherd to protect the oceans from pollution and to conserve wildlife. The siren-like hypnotism in the haunting vocals and atmospheric textures is backed by this powerful cause. With this track, Anke delivers a sonic dive that is both grounded in urgent real-world matters, but still manages to sound otherworldly.
