Destroy Lonely has announced his upcoming project, </3 (Broken Hearts 3), set for release this Friday, Sept. 19.
The new project was unveiled the night of Sunday, Sept. 14, with billboards across New York City. </3 (Broken Hearts 3) marks the third installment of his Broken Hearts series, which began in 2020. The new single, “Jumangi,” is out now on streaming platforms.
</3 (Broken Hearts 3) will serve as a follow-up to </3 (pronounced: Broken Hearts), and a month later, in October 2020, the deluxe edition was released, titled </3². In June 2025, Lonely released his ninth EP, See U Soon </3, on Soundcloud, which included one feature from Ken Carson
The news comes as the rapper and singer plans to hit the road with Playboi Carti on the highly anticipated Antagonist Tour, kicking off in October. Lonely is set to perform at multiple U.S. arenas, alongside Ken Carson and Homixide Gang, marking the first time hitting the road as an Opium collective. The tour, which will begin on Oct. 3 in Salt Lake City, UT, will hit major cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, his hometown of Atlanta and more.
It comes more than a year after Lonely released his sophomore album, Love Lasts Forever, set for release on Aug. 30. This album signifies a crucial point in Lonely’s career, illustrating his artistic growth and deeper storytelling.
