Daisy Grenade releases vengeful new single “Good Luck (Wish You Hell)”

Date:

If you’re the ex of either Keaton Whittaker or Dani Nigro of Daisy Grenade, now is a pretty good time to consider running away and never looking back. The beloved alt-pop duo has released their addictive new breakup anthem “Good Luck (Wish You Hell).”

The new single showcases Daisy Grenade in a softer light with powerful, emotionally charged vocal delivery and pop-driven production. “Good Luck (Wish You Hell)” sees Daisy Grenade wish their past lover nothing but the worst when it comes to finding another. While moving on may be the so-called best revenge, the duo’s punk attitude cuts through as they channel the unfiltered rage and pain felt after heartbreak.

The duo’s desire for their exes to receive a taste of their own medicine is on full display as they sing, “I hope you drive by, by her place / just in time to see her ex walk out the door” and “Good luck moving on to someone new / Good luck when she’s sick of your shit too.” The track also showcases the full extent of Whittaker and Nigro’s dynamic range as vocalists like never before, portraying the emotional depth behind its meaning even further. Speaking on the track, Daisy Grenade shares,

“‘Good Luck (Wish You Hell)’ is the power ballad you’ve been wanting from DG since 2022! This song screams feminine rage, and will also make you cry by the end of the first chorus. This song draws a lot of inspiration from the pop girlies we all know and love, like Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter, while giving it that signature DG punk flavor.”

“Good Luck (Wish You Hell)” was first premiered at Daisy Grenade’s hometown pop-up show at King’s Dumplings in Chinatown in late August. The packed, intimate show (which was eventually shut down by the NYPD) served as a fundraiser for the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC).

Daisy Grenade will be hitting the road in support of Stand Atlantic later this month in a few cities across the United States. Tickets and information for these upcoming shows can be found here
