Travie McCoy, frontman of the group gymclassheroes., made a surprise appearance at the Savannah Bananas game in Pittsburgh on Aug. 30th. During his appearance, McCoy announced that gymclassheroes. has their first new album in 14 years being released in 2026.
There is so much to expect from gymclassheroes. for this long-awaited new album. Fans can get ready to hear a fusion of some reimagined classics and fresh tracks, expressing the evolution of the group.
This surprise announcement falls exactly 20 years after their groundbreaking album, The Papercut Chronicles. The album included their 3X platinum hit “Cupid’s Chokehold.” And now, the band is back to explore and celebrate the legacy that they created thanks to this album.
Over the course of their career, gymclassheroes. has collected a long list of accomplishments. They’ve had multiple hit singles chart on the Billboard Hot 100, along with achieving worldwide platinum and gold certificates. They’ve gotten to share the stage with artists such as Adam Levine and Panic! At the Disco and have performed on the stages of various major television shows such as The Tonight Show, The Today Show and MTV’s TRL.
