Fresh off a stadium run opening for Oasis and a summer packed with festival stops, Cage the Elephant just dropped news that will light up your fall calendar. The band is heading back out on the road this October for a headline tour supporting Neon Pill, their first full-length release in five years and easily one of their most emotionally open records to date.
The fall leg kicks off October 4 in San Antonio and cuts through Texas with shows in Houston and Corpus Christi before dropping into the lineup at Austin City Limits. From there, they’ll carve a path through the Midwest and East Coast, with dates in Detroit, Cleveland, Philly, and two nights in Port Chester. The tour wraps on October 30 in Boston.
Support comes from a rotating cast of emerging acts – Hey, Nothing, Girl Tones, Vlad Holiday, Bec Lauder, The Noise, and Common People – giving each city a slightly different energy. If you’ve caught Cage live before, you know how they move between chaos and clarity with the flip of a switch. Add a fresh batch of openers, and you’re looking at a different kind of fire every night.
The tour follows the massive success of their 2024 “Neon Pill Tour,” which sold over 440,000 tickets and racked up more than $25 million in revenue across 47 dates. And honestly, it makes sense. This era hits different. Neon Pill doesn’t just showcase the band’s usual flair for alt-rock theatrics; it dives into grief, resilience, and personal reckoning without losing any of the noise, groove, or momentum. Singles like “Out Loud” and “Metaverse” have been burning through playlists, and the deeper cuts are made for the stage.

Presales begin Thursday, June 26, at 10 a.m. local time (Live Nation code: TREBLE), with general on-sale opening Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. Fair warning – these are likely to go fast. Between the post-Oasis momentum and festival buzz, demand is already high.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or you just woke up to this band’s weird brilliance thanks to the new album, this tour looks like a full-circle moment: a band still evolving, still shredding, and still packing venues on their own terms.
