Bre Kennedy shares moving acoustic version of “Thick Skin”

Date:

Nashville based singer/songwriter Bre Kennedy is making waves in the music industry and continues to do so with her new release of “Thick Skin” (Acoustic), a moving version of her already stellar song. Kennedy grew up in a musical household, so you know it has always been her passion. You can tell she puts her all into everything she does. Nashville is where she discovered her true musical identity and it is so evident. Her debut album Note To Self, released in October 2021, was inspired by her time alone in lockdown and after reading Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way. Bre recently signed with Nettwerk and is currently working on new music.

The new acoustic version of “Thick Skin” is brilliant and moving. Themes of self-growth, reflection, and over-coming shine through even more brightly with this stripped-back recording. This acoustic track is part of four songs on her upcoming EP Note To Self (Acoustic) which is set to be released on April 15th. Bre is also set to go on tour with her friend and fellow Nashville artist, Joy Oladokun that will span from April to May. You can find more info on that tour here. This year is setting up to be Bre’s year and we can’t wait to see what she has in store next. The future is certainly bright for Bre.
