BABYMETAL collaborates with Resident Evil for its 30th anniversary

Japanese metal band BABYMETAL gears up for an exciting collaboration with the popular video game Resident Evil in honor of the 30th anniversary. The collaboration between the two entities will come with a variety of limited edition merchandise.

In the announcement by @RE_Games on X, a fan favorite character, Alcina Dimitrescu, or Lady Dimitrescu, delivers the spectacular news of the collaboration in a specialized video message. The collaboration, according to video game company Capcomis set to be take place in 2026. Alongside this announcement, a special showcase has been confirmed to give more details on the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem. 

This news comes as a “what’s next?” as the Japanese metal trio has recently delivered a beautiful finale to their US tour in Los Angeles, where they brought out a special guest performer: Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox.

Additionally, the trio (consisting of members Su-metal, Momo-metal, and Moa-metal,) gear up for the very last 2025 world tour show in Mexico City, on Nov. 7th, before taking a small break before their 2026 Japan shows, following the release of their album METAL FORTH.
