Austin Millz and Tropidelic to headline inaugural I’m From Cleveland Arts & Music Festival

The first ever I’m From Cleveland Arts & Music Festival will be held on Sept. 6 at Jacobs Pavilion, featuring live performances, local vendors, and interactive art installations. 

DJ Austin Millz will headline the festival alongside the reggae and funk band Tropidelic. mgk’s drummer Rook, former In Real Life member Conor Michael Smith and American Idol Season 19 contestant maryjo are also slated to perform. 

I’m From Cleveland, a media outlet and the festival’s namesake, has been a trusted source of the city’s music, sports and event-related news since 2010. Presented by the artist collective For Art’s Sake in association with the Transformative Art Fund, the inaugural festival aims to uplift local talent and highlight the city’s cultural heritage. Eric Vajda, co-founder of I’m From Cleveland, shares more: 

“Our platform has always been about celebrating Cleveland culture, and this festival is the next step in making that celebration tangible, giving people the chance to experience it live together.”

The schedule, along with the list of vendors and possible guest appearances, will be announced in the coming weeks.
