Alison’s Fall faces their demons with “Insane”

Date:

Alternative rock band Alison’s Fall questions the sanity of the world around us in their newest single, “Insane.” Formed by the brother sister duo of Pepijn and Floortje van der Kooij, the band creates an explosion of rock and roll that has hints of noise and industrial mixed in, a sound that’s unique and exciting. The track is the first single of their upcoming EP to be released in the fall.

“Insane” is filthy and in your face. The song is an inner dialogue that explores the subject’s own perception of reality and their demons, while also reflecting on the state of the world. The aggressive drums become a form of battle cry that runs through the track, paired perfectly with Pepijn’s strong riffs and Floortje’s sultry vocals, taking the listener hostage and confronting them at the same time. One of the highlights is the short guitar solo towards the end, with a raw and metallic sound that is simple, yet effective.

After a short run of shows supporting Saint Agnes back in 2019, Alison’s Fall is ready to share all the new music they’ve created since then, and “Insane” is the perfect representation of their brand of dirty and stylized rock and roll.
