Alexander Stewart has officially signed a record deal with Virgin Music, marking a huge milestone in his career. Stewart began singing at a young age, performing in church choirs or school events, but when he began posting covers on YouTube, he gained major traction. He first performed “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars at his eight grade talent show, and years later he uploaded a cover of the song to YouTube, where it went on to reach over eight million views.
“This has been a long time coming and I couldn’t be more excited or think of a better partner.”
Since then, Stewart has started to release his own original music, including breakout hits “blame’s on me,” “i wish you cheated,” and “if you only knew.” His full length debut album, bleeding heart, was released in May 2024 and has amassed over 500 million streams on Spotify.
