Sawyer Hill has revealed that his much-awaited debut studio album Everybody’s Home, Nobody’s Happy is scheduled to drop on August 21. The album, which contains 11 songs, is currently available for pre-orders and pre-save here.
Along with the reveal of his album, Sawyer Hill has released new single “Tyin’ The Noose,” a country blues song that comments on how young Southern men are supposed to hold their emotions inside. Hill also released a music video for this lead single.
Hill continues to develop his unique style of blues music with Everybody’s Home, Nobody’s Happy by adding in Americana and alternative rock music influences, creating his most intimate collection of songs ever. Having left his birthplace of Arkansas for the first time in his life and spent years touring, Hill gained a new perspective on life, which played a major part in writing the majority of the songs for this particular album. Hill explains,
“On my earlier music I felt like I was singing about things less specific to me. Maybe I hadn’t figured it out yet and therefore could not get across who I am, which makes this album feel more genuine.”
Recently, Hill toured in support of YUNGBLUD during the North American leg of Idols: The World Tour, and he has toured widely around North America and Europe, increasing his fan base in the process. This year, he will play Outside Lands and Bourbon & Beyond, two prominent festivals in the United States.
Sawyer Hill Tour Dates:
8.7 – San Francisco, CA – Outside Lands Festival
9.23 – Louisville, KY – Bourbon & Beyond Festival
11.21 – Mexico City, MX – Corona Capital Festival
