Post Malone creates a buzz with massive 40-song double album teaser, ‘The Eternal Buzz’

Post Malone fans were sent into a frenzy when the artist uploaded a photo of a blank tracklist – alluding to a two-disc, 40-song record – alongside the suspected album title, The Eternal Buzz. Malone captioned the post with only the words: “coming soon 💗🍻”

Fans in the comments were quick to identify possible easter eggs, noting that the tracklist utilized a barbed-wire-style font. This sparked speculation on whether the album would lean into his recent country flair, venture back into rap, or perhaps even experiment with metal. Rumors have long associated the record with his Nashville collaborators Ernest, Hardy, and Thomas Rhett.

In April 2025, Malone told Billboard that collaborating with friends and artists in Nashville had him “pretty excited for the new record already.” At the same time, he referenced having “probably 35 songs” in the works. “I sit there and listen to these songs, and I usually hate listening to my music, but listening to the band play, I get so excited,” he said.

Whether The Eternal Buzz serves as a full dive into country or a genre-bending adventure that captures every corner of his evolution, the scale of the project suggests Malone’s most ambitious era yet. With 40 tracks potentially on the horizon, fans won’t have to wait long to see if the “Buzz” lives up to the hype.
