For those of us who grew up listening to the likes of Tame Impala, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Bleachers, and M83 – as well as the 80s pop of our parents’ teenagehood – Ontario indie-pop group A Day’s Wait is an incredibly exciting find.
Their new single, “Eyes on the Road,” was created in collaboration with the mysterious Vic Malang. With a slightly electronic edge, the song is layered with many intricate drum tracks and synthesizers, creating a feeling that marries nostalgia with futuristic themes.
