5 Seconds of Summer Releases New Single and Tour

Date:

By Emily Gainous

On February 23rd, 5 Seconds of Summer released a new single titled “Want You Back” along with new tour dates for their 2018 tour. This is the first thing the band has released since their last album “Sounds Good Feels Good” released in 2015.

5 Seconds of Summer is an Australian pop-punk band who blew up after touring with One Direction. They became even bigger after the release of their first self-titled album in 2014. They fell off the grid for awhile until the release of this new single and have finally given their fans what they’ve been asking for the past two years.

Their 2018 tour is called 5SOS3 and it begins in late March and ends in early June. The band will play in Europe, the U.S., Singapore, Australia, and Mexico. Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 2nd. You can find more information about this upcoming tour here.
