The Aces danced their way into Boston for an electric disco themed night at Royale with some of their most dedicated fans. The Aces who hail from Utah, consist of sisters Cristal Ramirez (vocals), Alisa Ramirez (drums), Katie Henderson (guitar), and McKenna Petty (bass). The girls have poured their whole selves into the new era, which is filled with disco vibes and queer joy. The band recently released their newest album Gold Star Baby to immense success and praise from fans. It’s a brilliant work of art that transcends their previous albums.
Fans were in for a treat for this tour as the band would play a majority of the new album along with some classic songs from older albums. They kicked off the night with “Jealous” from the new album to a monstrous roar from the crowd, who were already ready to dance. Dressed to the nines in disco inspired fits with Cristal in leopard print and the rest of the gals in leather and shiny attire. Even the crowd was dressed to the nines as the band had told the crowd prior to the show to dress in their best fits to have a chance to be picked to come on stage and dance and take shots with them, which is such a cool opportunity.
These gals sure know how to put on a show and make it feel like a party. There wasn’t a dull moment that night as the energy all night was electric. The Aces had the crowd dancing and grooving all night. They played classics from their discography like “Daydream”, “Stuck”, “The Magic”, and “You Got Me”, just to name a few. Not only can the girls put on one hell of a show, they are also some of the funniest people as well. They love doing mid show bits, including one where they stop to let the audience tell them some tea or gossip they have. Between mid show banter, their electric stage presence, and they way they command a crowd, The Aces continue to prove they are truly stars. If you want to have a fun night filled with non stop dancing, be sure to check out The Aces on tour!
