On May 15th, Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee was packed to the brim with fans ready to throw down, sing loud, and ride the waves of high-octane energy brought by Memphis May Fire, Elijah, Wind Walkers, and Caskets.
The night kicked off with Elijah, who came out swinging and immediately captured the room’s attention. His blend of heavy-hitting breakdowns set the bar high, getting the crowd ready for what was to come. Next up, Wind Walkers brought a seamless mix of post-hardcore and choruses with “Dissipate”, with layers of clean and unclean vocals. The crowd’s movement picked up noticeably during their set, with the first crowd surfers of the evening making their way to the front. Caskets, hailing from the UK, continued the momentum by delivering some fan favorites like “Glass Heart” and “More Than Misery”. The crowd sang every word in unison, creating a communal energy that filled the venue to its rafters.
By the time Memphis May Fire hit the stage, the room had reached full capacity in both numbers and volume. Launching into “Blood & Water,” the band wasted no time commanding the stage, following with tracks like “Somebody” and “Make Believe” had fans screaming every lyric with fists in the air. The band also treated longtime fans to older hits like “Vices” and “The Sinner,” sending the crowd into a nostalgic frenzy. The smoke, lights, and sound was top-tier, matching the band’s raw energy blow for blow.
Throughout the night, crowd surfers never stopped rolling over the barricade, and the venue staff stayed busy keeping up with the relentless wave of bodies.
