Tove Lo kicked off her brand new Sunshine Kitty tour with an absolute bang in front of a packed house at Marathon Music Works on February 3rd. The tour takes the namesake of her most recent Sunshine Kitty album, released this past September and her fourth studio album. Tove will be bouncing around the US and Canada through the end of this month and then heads back across the pond for a Euro tour starting in March.
Fans showed up early and excited with Alma playing an energetic opening set to kick things off. Tove then took the stage with an explosive entrance and pumped out energy for a long set that had even the most picky concertgoers satisfied. Tove Lo continues to grow her following with each new release and has built up a loyal and dedicated fanbase with a reputation for wild shows. Her live show continues to get better and better and it shows. The lighting for this tour is a great complement to Tove’s raging stage presence and she knows how to work the crowd and keep the energy up throughout the setlist.
