A proper dose of The Story So Far in Boston

Date:

The Story So Far is a name that resonates deeply within the pop-punk community, and their recent show in Boston at MGM Fenway was nothing short of electrifying. The California-based band brought their signature blend of emotionally charged lyrics, energetic instrumentals, and raw stage presence to life in a way that left the audience buzzing even long after the show ended.

Even though it was the night before Thanksgiving, there still was a large crowd of people who came out just to see their favorite band. From the moment they hit the stage, The Story So Far had the crowd in the palm of their hands. Opening with “Big Blind,” off of their newly released album “I Want To Disappear”. The energy in the venue was insane as Parker Cannon’s distinct vocals pierced through the room. It really set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The band played a great mixture of songs from their whole discography which spans over 10+ years and counting. Most of the setlist contained songs from their newest album, I Want to Disappear like “All This Time”, “Letterman”, and “Keep You Around”. But everyone knew they also had to play the classics from Under Soil and Dirt like “High Regard” and “Quicksand” as well as “Empty Space” and “The Glass” from the album What you Don’t See.

The Story So Far always bring high energy to every performance but this night was special and the band shouted out their love for Boston and how the crowds always go the hardest there. There were no moments the entire night where there wasn’t someone moshing or crowd surfing. Everyone in the venue was having a blast and you could tell. When the band ended their set with “Quicksand”, that had to be a record for how many crowd surfers were up at once, it was insane to see.  Time and time again The Story So Far prove they are one of Pop-Punks best there is.
